About 5 or 6 years ago, I received a job request from a client who needed a logo designed for his business. Following standard procedure, I sent him a logo questionnaire, conducted a phone interview, and endeavored to gather as much information as possible. During our discussion, he mentioned a key detail to me.
“I want my logo to be like Black Pink.”
Excitedly, I responded, “SAY NO MORE!” and promptly crafted three mock-ups, each incorporating various shades of pink and black. Upon presenting these designs to my client, he clarified,
“Actually, what I meant was ‘Blackpink’… the Korean K-pop band, not the colors black and pink.”
… well, that was embarassing…
